Hi I had to reboot my laptop as I had lots of issues with it.

I have re-installed everything including MobiOne and iTunes.

All my files were backed up.

I have made some changes to my app and want to test it on an ad hoc basis.

So I build the app in MobiOne. In iTunes, the ‘install’ button is pressed and the button turns into a ‘Will Install’ button. (see image attached).

I’ve synced iTunes with the iPod but the app s not going onto the iPod. Any help on this on, please?

FYI, at the build stage I putted my digital certificate and provisioning files, but no the password – as I do not know what it is. If that’s the problem, where can I find the password? In any case MobiOne still let me build the app…

    Hi,

It’s hard to say why your app will not install. But here are few things to look for:

    0) ensure that your device is running iOS 4.3 or greater
    – if not then updated your version of iOS if you can do it without breaking any old important apps on the device

    2) look for an existing provision profile that is used by your app and delete it. Then try to install the app to his device and see if that works.

Note: the MobiOne iOS build wizard should detect an expired profile before building your app. So I discount that the profile is expired.

Let us know how it goes.
