I had one big XML file, which I split into several “fragments”, using external entities. But I get lots of errors for the DTD, saying:
IWAX0401E Failed to load included file ‘fragment.xml’
And I also get errors saying fragment.xml is not a valid XML file, which is true because it doesn’t have a single root element. The whole XML (including external entities) is valid.
I’m using Eclipse 3.0.1 and MyEclipse 3.8.2+QF20041020
This seems to be a bug with our XML editors not recognizing external entities; we are looking into it. Most likely something to fix for 3.9 or later.
I’m getting the same error using Eclipse 3.1.1 and MyEclipse 4.0.3 on Windows. Any plans to fix this?
