    Strange problems on myeclipse 3.8 b1 /eclipse 3 M9 RC2.

    I want to recreate my project – I get the error message ‘j2ee libraries not configured or disabled’. Looking at window -prefs-myeclipse – j2ee – lib sets – j2ee1.3, there are no zips/jars set here. If this is the problem, then what do I need to add?

    Or – do I need to reinstall myeclipse?

    btw this was all fine before I had to kill eclipse via task manager due to problems encountered when I tried to delete the previous project

    thanks for your time

    Try resetting the J2EE Library contents under the ME preferences.

    1) Windows(menu)->Preference->MyEclipse->J2EE->LibrarySet->J2EE 1.3
    2) Select “Restore Defaults”
    3) Select “OK”
    4) Rebuild your problematic project if autobuild not enabled

    Something else is going on here. If you recycle Eclipse and then try resetting libset does that make a difference?

    If “no” then something wierd going on here. Check your error log for related error messages and post for our review.

    thanks for the help. I decided to uninstall, reinstall. Seems to be better now, tho interesting that even tho’ the j2ee libset jars were in place, they were by default disabled…

    anyway seems to work again – i can carry on trying to import my project.

    thanks again – great responsiveness!

    Thanks for the feedback. If there are no further issues I will close this thread.

    FYI: now that E3 has adopted the MyEclipse LibrarySet feature we will be evolving our LibrarySet impl over to the E3 User Library mechanism ASAP.
