Riyad KallaMemberThis has to do with an incompatible version of browser that the SWT Widget is trying to use, this is not a MyEclipse issue. On Linux this is usually cured by installing Mozilla version 1.6, but on Windows SWT Browser by default wraps IE, so I don’t know why you would be getting these errors…
Anand NarasimhanMemberI just posted the same problem. Then I saw this message.
I am having the same problem on Solaris. I do have mozilla 1.6 installed and set the MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME environment variable correctly. Is there a solution for this problem?
Thanks
Anand
Riyad KallaMemberAnand,
Can you double check the FAQ section of this tutorial:
http://myeclipseide.com/enterpriseworkbench/help/topic/com.genuitec.myeclipse.doc/html/quickstarts/htmleditor/index.html#faqUnfortunately we don’t have a Solaris install locally to test what the problem might be… ultimately this incompatibility stems from the SWT Browser widget provided by the base Eclipse platform; if we are unable to nail down what is going on here, there is also the Eclipse SWT newsgroup or mailing list and other users on Solaris might be able to help you figure out what is going on. I appologize if we are not able to help run this down for you.
Riyad KallaMemberAnand if you would like to continue this discussion in the other thread you posted about the shutdown exception, that might be easier.
