Rik SerpentierMemberHi, I upgrade to 6.5, but when I open a javascript-file, no javascript editor is started. I do not find anything about javascript in the preferences. All javascript is shown as plain text. What went wrong, how can it be fixes ?
Loyal WaterMemberIf you right click on the .js file and go to Open with, you don’t see the MyEclipse Java Script Editor option?
Can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.
Rik SerpentierMemberHi,
When I right-click a *.js-file I can opt for “Open with – Other…”, and then pick “JavaScript Editor”. So that works, but I don’t see a “MyEclipse JavaScript Editor”, nor does the file open in the JavaScript-editor, when I double-click it.
Below is the installation summary :

Loyal WaterMemberGo to windows > Preferences > General > Editors > File Associations and make sure you have a *.js associated with the MyEclipse Java Script Editor. Incase you dont have *.js in the list, click the Add button add it.
