    I’ m new to JSP. I’m trying to run this simple jsp on a virtual server hosted by a provider:

    <%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core" prefix="c" %>
    <%
    String path = request.getContextPath();
    String basePath = request.getScheme()+"://"+request.getServerName()+":"+request.getServerPort()+path+"/"
    %>
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
    <html>
      <head>
        <base href="<%=basePath%>">

        <title>My JSP 't.jsp' starting page</title>

        <meta http-equiv="pragma" content="no-cache">
        <meta http-equiv="cache-control" content="no-cache">
        <meta http-equiv="expires" content="0">
        <meta http-equiv="keywords" content="keyword1,keyword2,keyword3">
        <meta http-equiv="description" content="This is my page">

        <!--
        <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="styles.css">
        -->
      </head>

      <body>
       setting value
       <c:set var="hello" value="Hello World !"/>
       <p/>
       <c:out value="${hello}"/>
      </body>
    </html>

    While this run on my local server i’m getting a :
    javax.xml.parsers.FactoryConfigurationError: Provider org.apache.crimson.jaxp.SAXParserFactoryImpl not found

    I found this on Sun site If read permission is not set for xercesImpl.jar, a potentially misleading error message is reported. A FactoryConfigurationError is thrown that says
    “Provider org.apache.crimson.jaxp.SAXParserFactoryImpl not found”,
    instead of
    “Provider org.apache.xerces.jaxp.SAXParserFactoryImpl not found”.
