Frank WeberMemberI am interested in the jBPM and EJB3 related JBoss IDE Plugins.
Do they work with the current MyEclipse version?
Best Regards and thanks in advance !
Frank
osesmMemberGood luck. I haven’t had much luck with the JBoss IDE plugins and myeclipseide.
Frank WeberMemberI guess I will keep them separate in the JBoss IDE and avoid further trouble 🙂
Thanks for your feedback,
Frank
Frank WeberMemberOK, I could not resist … and installed the ‘standalone’ jBPM-Designer-3.0.8.1 into the current ME version under Eclipse 3.1.2, which is working very well in the JBoss IDE.
Unfortunately the Designer Editor can not be opened 🙁 it is not shown under ‘open with’ ?
It would be great if someone from the ME team could comment on how to get this to work !!!
Thanks in advance,
Frank
Riyad KallaMemberFrank,
The items in the Open With menu are handled by file associations and the content type mappings. Try navigating to the Window > Prefs > General > File Associations settings and seeing what file extension the jBPM designer is associated with and then set it as the “Default” for that type. Also try checking the Text Editor > Content Types settings to see if you need to add a mapping to an extension there.
Frank WeberMemberRiyad,
FYI: The jBPM-Designer seems to work now with ME after a fresh installation in the following order … Eclipse 3.1.2, jBPM-Designer-3.0.8.1, ME-4.1.1GA_E3.1.
Note: I used java sdk 1.5.0_06 and SUSE Linux 10.
I have a question concerning the JSPX editor and the views and perspectives, but I will continue on my other related topic …
Regards,
Frank
Riyad KallaMemberThank you for following up Frank for other users.
Just a quick note, our JSP editor doesn’t fully support the JSPX spec yet but we are hoping to address this in the MyEclipse 5.x release stream with the initial 5.0 release making good strides in this area.
