do the current version of Eclipse and myeclipse support jdk1.5?
Also, is there any guidelines or tutorial implmenting CMP2.0 with JBoss4.0.1 and Oracle9i? I also don’t want to use xDoclet. thanks.

While we have some users report stable operation using JDK 1.5, the Eclipse 3.0.x platform and subsequently MyEclipse 3.8.4 stable are not certified on JDK 1.5, and some users (Although only a few) have run into problems running with JDK 1.5

FYI, I’m one of those users running on SUN JDK1.5 and thus far I haven’t encountered any specific problems that I could relate to 1.5. Using both Windows XPSP2 and Debian GNU/Linux testing with Eclipse 3.02 and MyEclipse 3.8.4.

I also tried the JRockit 1.5 VM for a while, and no problems there either (although Eclipse felt a bit slower with it, so I changed back to the Sun VM).
