The MyEclipse Jetty 7 plugin gives the option of deploying its own auto-generated webapp context xml file, or of not deploying any webapp context xml file at all.

I’d like to have it deploy my own custom context xml file instead, is this possible?

    I’m using version 8.6.1-20101117 Professional.

    rogercaplan,

I am not familiar with Jetty 7 but there is a ContextDeployer to configure the custom context xml.
I suggest you cross post this to Jetty forum to get better support on it.

Let us know if you have any other issues.

By ContextDeployer, do you mean a feature of MyEclipse, or Jetty’s ContextDeployer?

I’ve looked through Jetty-related forums and they all cover eclipse WTP, not MyEclipse’s proprietary Jetty plugin.

Can I extend the MyEclipse Jetty plugin with my own plugin?

    It is Jetty’s Context Deployer.

I am afraid you cannot extend it with your own plugin.

How would we go about submitting a feature request to allow for myeclipse to deploy custom context xml files?
