What version of MyEclipse are you using ? What were you trying to do when you ran into this error ? I need some more details.

    hi nipun,

i just downloaded yesterday the latest version (),
because i wanted to tray out the new hibernate 3.2 libraries.

then i wanted to add hibernate 3.2 capabilites to a project and was wondering why only 2, 3.0, 3.1 were available.
in the support forum i found a post that i have to add jpa capabilites in order to use hibernate 3.2.

then i switched to the jpa perspective,
opened a connection to a oracle database,
    right clicked on a table,
    selected the java package,
    selected entity bean generation
    and pressed the finished button,
confirmed the “…. will be overwritten artificat ..” msg
and then i get the error message:
An internal error occured during: “Generating Artifacts.”
Hibernate Dialect mus be explicitly set.

    update:
i’ve just installed again version 5.5.1 GA.
now jpa rev eng and also hibernate (3.1.) rev eng is working fine.

for the next myeclipse version it would be nice to have
a working hibernate 3.2 (classic hibernate, not jpa style) as well
    struts 2 integration.

    cheers,

    f
