I would like the annotations to be on the attributes of the objects and not the getters of
    the poljos created.
What is the simplest way to do this? Is there a setting?

I imagine their is a way to do this with the custom templates but I cannot see any examples of jpa custom templates.

    bchrist2,
Annotations on fields is currently not supported.
Sorry for the inconvenience. We have an enhancement request filed for this feature.

    Thanks for the quick response.
What is the time line for the enhancement?
Does anyone know of another plug-in that could perform the same task?

I will investigate to see if there is a maven plug-in

    bchrist2,

We will be attempting to allow additional generation techniques with MyEclipse 9.0M2, due in the first half of December. Adding annotations to fields will be supported in this release.
