I am using MyEclipse 4.1.1 planning to work more with JSF.
So I start to use the faces config designer. I realized that he has only a small functionality and has only the feature to define navigation rules. Is there also planned to define managed beans, language resources, or referenced beans in a grafical way or do I still need in future to do this by hand via the xml editor?

You can use the Outline view, just right click on the “Managed Beans” and select New, the wizard will walk you through it. Also note that the drop down arrow at the top of the Outline view will offer you New wizards for every resource type in a faces-config file.
