What is the status of this? I’m using 7.5 via Pulse, and I’m not getting JSF 1.2 tag content assist. For example, f:setPropertyActionListener is not showing up. Thanks.

    Guy,
This issue would be targeted in the 8.0 GA release. Thank you for your patience.

Nipun, thank you for the reply. We really need a simpler way to install content assist. Technology always evolves. Ideally, we’d have some way of plugging in content assist for the technology of our choosing without having to wait for Genuitec to come out with a major release.

    Guy,

You’re absolutely right — for all intents and purposes the content assist for the different file formats we support are all dynamic, pulled from the build path or meta in the file itself (like in XML). In this particular case it seems to be a bug causing the parser to parse the wrong file for content assist and validation information. That’s the reason for the wait, we need to fix the bug.
