Hi,

I’ve been playing around with the new JSF web designer.
I feel that there are still a lot of things that could be improved.

1. When I load a resource bundle using <f:loadBundle>, then the design editor does not recognize my messages. (Exadel does…)
2. The tomahawk tags (myfaces extensions) are not available in the visual editor.
3. There is no way to add custom components to the visual editor.
4. The faces config editor complains when the <property-class> of a managed bean is an interface. I am using Spring beans and the Spring DelegatingVariableResolver; because Spring initializes the beans before JSF needs them, there is no problem with interfaces.

However, 4.0GA still is a major improvement over 3.8!

So do we, the JSF feature set is still in it’s infancy.

1) This is on our TODO list.
2) Optional MyFaces tags on our TODO list.
3) If you mean adding items to the Palette, this is also on our TODO list.
4) Hmm, we didn’t have a test case for this. Would you be able to provide a small sample project that exhibits this project and mail it to support@genuitec.com with a link to this thread and ATTN Riyad?

However, 4.0GA still is a major improvement over 3.8!
