hello

what implementation of jsf1.1 comes with myeclipse. looking at the packages it seams it is the reference implementation from sun but uses classes from the common project at apache.

i wanted to attache source to the packages but couldnt find it at sun. is there even source available?

i also found the myfaces implementation at apache. if i cant get any source for the reference impl i will just use this. or maybe i am doing so already…

It is the RI from Sun (the JARs we use), you can likely get the source from the J2EE source download but I’m not certain.

Quite a few users prefer to use MyFaces here in the forums, so maybe moving over to that would be an easier fit for you?

it would be nice to have a choice.

automaticly added sources would be another nice feature.

also it should be stated in an obious location what is being used. this also applies for jstl.

choices sould be:
– implementation
– version
– source

edit: maybe this could be in a similar fashion as for application servers.
