I oringally posted a question in the J2EE forum at https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/my-jsp-editor-does-not-match-the-one-in-jsf-logindemo/#post-251485

When executing the JSF LoginDemo Tutorial, at figure 7.3, I did not have the Design and Design/Source or Preview tabs on my JSP editor. Based on the response from support, this is because
    1) Design and Design/Source are not supported on Linux,
    2) Preview on Linux requires some extra set up steps.

Note that I was able to finish the tutorial simply using the “source” tab, but with some difficulty because the tutorial assumes that the wizards are available on the Design tab.

I respectfully suggest that the tutorial should either
    1) Use tools that are available in all versions of the MyEclipse software
    or
    2) Show the full source pages for the *.jsp’s that are created so that you can see how to edit them with the Source tab.

    Thank you,

We will rectify this with the better of the solutions in 5.0 (make the designer cross platform), sorry for the inconsistency.
