exemplarischMemberIt seems, there isn’t any solution for this problem.
Loyal WaterMemberexemplarisch,
We are still looking into this issue but haven’t found a solution to this issue yet. Im sorry for the inconvenience.I had one more question for you. Are you working on the 64 bit OS?
exemplarischMemberno, i have a 32k OS (Vista). However, i have installed myeclipse 7.0 on Win2K and i have got the same result as under Vista.
Loyal WaterMemberThank you for this information. I’ll let the dev team know about this and get back to you soon.
exemplarischMemberHi, I sent it 3 weeks ago… no solution yet. Without using Icefaces (I would use rather Richfaces) is MyEclipse unusable!. By the way, 6.6.GA has the same error!
Loyal WaterMemberexemplarisch,
We have not been able to reproduce this issue at our end so its been difficult to resolve this issue. We would appreciate it if you could give us any input that can help us reproduce this at our end.
exemplarischMembernippun,
if you would read the different items in the other forums, so you would know, i am not alone with this problem. I think, this is a very critical bug, without this jsf extension (you don’t support richfaces) is myeclipse for me unusable. I have installed myeclipse new several times and allways got the same result. It’s a pity, so I will go to netbeans.
Markus NikolopoulosMemberIs this resolved yet?
I get the same error when trying to run the On-demand example “SimlpeFaceletsExample”.

Riyad KallaMemberMark,
Just to clarify, the designer works but the preview does not, correct?
Clarification: I can reproduce this problem with the Preview not working, but the Designer continues to work — I just wanted to make sure we were all on the same page with this bug and there aren’t some folks that cannot get the designer working either.
Vadim SkarzhinMemberWe have the same issue under Xp SP3 32bit, My Eclipse version 7.0. Designer works, but preview is not working for JSPs/JSF pages and it looks like a very critical feature to us, one of the reasons why we considered buying MyEclipse software.
Was any solutoin found?
Riyad KallaMemberWe are researching this internalyl right now and seeing if we can get a fix into 7.1

When I try the preview tab I get the following:
“The VPE editor can’t be run because your system environment needs to be changed slightly. Find out more”The “Find out more” link points to a non-existing page at jboss.org
