    Hi,

already asked this question on JavaLobby, but here it is again: are we getting full JSP 2.0 support anytime soon? Any date? Specifically I mean tagfiles, and all the rest.

Let me also add that I personally consider fully functional text editors for all J2EE items much more important than colorful design views. I can also get my database explorer elsewhere… Just to let you know.

just to clarify, that was not meant as a critique. I consider MyEclipse to be the only option (after evaluating the pack) for J2EE development in eclipse – and have purchased my subscription already. Its just my feedback about how I would like to see MyEclipse emerge in the future. I know eclipse plugin development is a task that should not be taken lightly.
So when is JSP 2.0 to be expected ;-)?

    regards,
    Christian

    Christian,

We’re actively working on it now, but it won’t be ready for 3.8 GA. Right now it looks like we’ll have it in the 3.9 timeframe.
