    I use Tomcat 5.0.3. and J2SDK1.4.1_02.
I have been using all the different releases of myeclipse since june on both windows and linux and in all scenarios I am experiencing the following problem. When I check code out of CVS my jsp breakpoints are not getting hit. Has anybody else had this problem?

I would not expect CVS to have any impact on JSP debugging. Unfortunately we need more info to gain insight into your problem. Please review the posting guidelines for the basic info we need to assist you: http://www.myeclipseide.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=394

    1) Describe how you are deploying your webapp
    2) Verify that the Tomcat connector is configured to launching debug mode.
    3) Within a JSP file where are you setting breakpoints, e.g., html content, scriptlet, include JSP.
    4) Anything else you can think of, e.g., the problem only appears when facing east or listening to Rush at a high dB level 🙂

    Hi Michael,

I guess I deserved the listening to Rush remark :). I’ll try to be a little more scientific in identifying the problem. I’ll let you know what I find.

1 more question, are your breakpoints set within scriptlet code or elsewhere? If yes read this thread: https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/jsp-break-point-not-working-unless-on-the-first-line/

PS-Thanks for taking my joke re: Rush. That is what I listen to on rock-n-roll Fridays.
