    Hi,

    Eclipse 2.1.2, WinXP prof, Sun JDK 1.4.2_03, MyEclipseIDE 2.7 RC2 (Build ID says it’s a “Build id: 200312091200-2.7-RC1” ?!)

While editing JSP files, Ctrl+Space doesn’t expand any of the editor templates! This is very, very annoying.

    b0rg,
when you setup editor templates you choose what context they exist in, and the only two choices are “java” and “javadoc”. I do not believe that MyEclipse’s JSP editor (Because it is a custom editor) falls into the “java” context currently. However, it sure would be nice if they did! I’ll mark this as an enhancement and fire it off to the Guys That Make Decisions Around Here(tm).

    Hi,

wanted to ask if there’s any news about this?
Adding the JSP editor to the “java” context would be fine, because other features could be enabled: F3 “open-definiton”, mouse hover show-javadoc/-source, etc.

I’ve evaluated ME now for almost one month, and am quite impressed. Tried it with small test projects and with 2 big, already existing projects, w/ and w/o Struts. This issue, the JSP TAB indent/unindent, the JSP formatting and another JSP debugger problem (new topic) are important for me and my team. Also, looking at the roadmap, there wasn’t much movement in the past weeks and also no news about the next releases. Would there be a statement about this in the _near_ future?

    Thanks in advance,
    Victor.
