Can one format (beautify) a file containing JSP code, Javascript code, and HTML using MyEclipse?

Can one format just a selected section of a file?

Yes to both. When the JSP editor is open, reformatting is available on the main menu bar under the ‘Source’ menu.

Is there a way to configure the jsp formatter? IMO code is difficult to read when there are multiple tags per line.

I totally understand. But in case anyone is taking a survey, that’s the #1 reason we purchased MyEclipse (as silly as it seems). To my knowledge, no one else is doing this. Of course, MyEclipse has a number of other great features, but we believe consistent, clear code will help us save money in maintenance costs and eagerly await a version that has this feature.

    thank you
