    Hi

    I am using Eclipse 3.1

    Version: 3.1.0
    Build id: I20050627-1435

    and Myeclipse

    Version: 3.9.210
    Build id: 20050627-4.0-Milestone-2

When i edit a JSP and press save is does not save the file to the file system… It seems to keep a copy around in memory… I can close and open it in eclipse and it is fine but the file system version has NOT changed.

This is a serious BUG. Can you please fix it…

Interestingly is seems to be after while because some of the changes i made where saved and may also be linked to running the jsp through an app server with debuging on…

    Hi

I am sur it is to do with the debugger… I tried to change the jsp while the app server was running… it came up with an error of NullPointerException…

But seemed to still work… however after that it stopped saving to the filesystem…

    The server was tomcat 5.0.28

However stange this sounds, please give it a try. Open up the “Properties” view, then drag it into a place (under your source tree?) where it is ALWAYS visible. Now close all your editors and restart MyEclipse. Now start to edit your project again, ALWAYS make sure that the Properties View stays visible. Did your problem go away?
