    Hi,

I have just installed myEclipse (3.7.2) with Eclipse 3.0RC3. All I am
looking for is a JSP editor.

Your editor seems to have some problems. The colour coding is fine,
and code completion works, but in the navigator view, there are errors
marked on files that certainly have no errors (MyEclipse| Remove
    problem markers has no effect).

I can use the wizard to create a new JSP, and this shows up in the
navigator with no errors. If I deliberately add an error, the problem
is marked in the navigator, but the marking doesn’t go away when I
remove the error (and save, of course).

‘Validate selected JSPs’ pops up a window very briefly to show that it
is doing something, but then the window disappears, and there seems to
be no record of it having found errors.

    Can you help?

    Thanks,

    John Pedersen

Guess there are errors or warnings.

Check the filter settings in your problem view and enable JSP errors.

    John,
NOP beat me to it, but you want to click the little down arrow in your Problems tab to adjust the filter, and make sure to hit “Select all”.
