The following string causes a JSP validation error, “missing –%>”.

Its easy enough to work around, but shouldn’t it be valid?

    Windows XP
    Eclipse 3.0.0
    MyEclipse 3.7.200 (Build id: 200407091200-3.8-Beta2)
    JDK 1.4.2

Installed fresh version of Eclipse and MyEclipse, and imported an existing code as a web module from CVS. I haven’t installed Tomcat yet, just trying to get the code to compile.

This is a known bug in the current release (3.8 beta 2) that will be fixed in the GA version. Thanks for pointing it out and we apologize for the inconvenience.
