I thought I remembered being able to see JSP variable values at run time, is that not the case? I can’t see them now and I’m wondering if I’ve done something wrong but I got ME handling my deployment and appserver. I can see java variable values on mouse over, set watches and view the variables in the variables view. All I get now in the variables view are “this”, “arg0” and “arg1”. Does this have something to do with my using Resin 3.1.3?

There are lots of variables listed under these three main lists. Are my locals located in there somewhere? If so, how can I locate them? If not, should I be able to see these values?

    Thanks,
    -Robert

    Robert,
Are you able to debug you JSP against a Tomcat 5 server ?

Can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.

I have the same problem too.
During my JSP debugging, I can only see arg0 and arg1 in the variables view.
Is there any way to see jsp variables such as page context etc etc>

I’ve been doing other stuff since I last posted here but now I’m back to working with JSP’s and need a resolution here. I have since upgraded to ME 6.5 and can not even set watches in JSP or hover. I haven’t tested tom cat but feel the issue is that I am using Resin 3.0.24 as my server. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Escpecially since I just renewed my licenses and got my business to buy another.

    Thanks,
    -Robert

    Robert,
Im afraid this issue has not been resolved for the 7.0 release. The dev team is still working on this. I’ll try and push this issue for the next release. Sorry for the inconvenience.
