eclipse windows–>Preferences…–>General–>Content Types –>jsp set encoding “UTF-8”,then click “update” ,it’s not work,the *.jspf ‘s default encoding remain “ISO8859-1”
I have to modify jspmodel.jar –>com.ibm.sse.model.jsp.contenttype.JSPResourceEncodingDetector.getSpecDefaultEncoding()
let return “UTF-8”, then it’s ok

What is your Eclipse Build ID? (Help > About)
What is your MyEclipse Build ID? (Window > Prefs > MyEclipse)

NOTE: I could not reproduce this problem, I entered UTF-8 and hit Update and OK and the value was saved.
