dear all

I tried to install the old version eclipse 2.00. After i run that eclipse, i found some error :

JVM terminate. Exit code =1
c:/windows/system32/javaw.exe
-cp c:/eclipse …..
…..

and after that my eclipse stack (hang) and i just can use the end program to close my eclipse. I use windows XP and i already use eclipse 3.00 and it run well

You will need to clarify what your setup is. What are your install directories? What did you try and “install”, etc. etc. I really don’t have any context of what you are doing to help you with any of theproblem. My basic suggestion for a botched reinstall is to simply unzip Eclipse to a new location, then start it up and create a new workspace and see if it works.

I use the standard method to install it, fist i unzip the eclipse 2.00 that i have download from elipce site to elipce directory, after that i just call the eclipse.exe from that sub directory. After that i got that problem, my eclipce did not run with those problem. I couldn’t open the eclipse yet. Just hang in start to run eclipse.
