    Hi guys,

This has been driving me crazy. I finally had time to chase it down. I’ve got an app with one image widget in the center of my screen and below that I have 6 buttons. Each button loads an image of varying sizes into the image widget. It’s set up for iPhone, portrait only. Works perfect in Test Center.

If I do an IOS build for iPhone/iPad and it seems to get the width and height mixed up. It fits the width OK, but the height is not keeping the aspect ratio.

Just checked. When I toggle the Keep Aspect Ratio checkbox, it scrunches in the Test Center, too.

But, I would think that it should keep the aspect ratio if the box is checked when you do the IOS build. Correct me if I am confused on this issue.

I’ve emailed you a file to your mailto:support@genuitec.com tagged as wildwex – Aspect ratio project.

I confirmed that your project’s UI layout is goofed up when built as an iphone-only app but installed on an ipad1/ios 4.3. At first glance it appears there is a relayout failure on device rotation. I can’t say it is related to the image aspect ratio without additional investigation. I did determine if the app is built for universal device support (iphone & ipad) the layout on rotation is successful. We have opened a bug and will discuss it with our dev team.
