at moment using 3.8beta, but most of this applies to all MyEclipse versions , I presume

    in myeclipse struts editor
tried to use CTRL+SHIFT+V to validate the struts-config.xml ()
    and it didn’t do.
choosing ‘Validate’ by hand or switching to flow view does validate

    checked the keyboard preferences (workbench/keys)
there’s nothing suitable too. theres just
    Source(com.genuitec.sourceforge.cssedi…)
which also looks a little bit broken (nothing to adjust and not changeable assignments…)

would be really nice, if hadn’t to switch to mouse control; just simply takes to long and interupts trail of thoughts..

also deploying/undeploying by keyboard binding would be REALLY nice
    i’m developing often on a laptop (with a horrible touchpad 🙁 )

hope you take this serious; especially the deployment non-ability per keyboard is *really* annoying.
(at the moment: hit several times CTRL+F7 to change to package explorer view, navigate through to project top-level entry, CTRL+F10, 2xARR_UP, 2xRETURN and then I’m allowed to choose what to do with deployments, which also takes a lot of keystrokes (at least 5 to undeploy something, and you have to know them by heart))

    regards
    axel

    Axel,
This is the first time we’ve gotten requests for key bindings which surprises me. I think this will become easier for us as Eclipse 3.0 has become our primary platform. I will send your request on up the chain of command for overall consideration. Because besides the 3 things you mention here, I think this begs the bigger issue of “MyEclipse keyboard bindings” in general.
