patrickomMemberHi, I just updated to 10.7.1 and some labels don’t appear correctly.
For example, the Servers tab now has the name “%view.ast.deploy.core.serverview.name”, the window title ends with “- %productName” or the About window shows “%aboutText”…
I’m using Windows 7 in spanish.

support-pradeepMemberPatrickom,
Sorry that you are seeing this issue.
1. Can you switch to a new workspace and check if it helps ? If you are still seeing the issue, please copy paste the contents of the .log file which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata/.log here for us.
2. If you have installed MyEclipse using Pulse, then open the Pulse explorer, click on MyEclipse in the My Profiles section and select ‘Reinstall then Run’ to repair the installation.
Alternatively, can you please download MyEclispe 10.7.1 installer from the following link and install it to a different location and check whether you can still see the issue.

patrickomMemberStill having the same issue. Switching to a new workspace or reinstaling 10.7.1 didn’t work.
Here is my .log file:

Brian FernandesModeratorPatrick,
What version of MyEclipse were you using last in which you had no problems?
Can you paste the contents of your myeclipse.ini file here?
Is the rest of your Eclipse interface in Spanish? For instance, if you open the New Class wizard (regular Java class) – are those labels in Spanish?
patrickomMemberI was working with MyEclipse 10.7.0 and updated to 10.7.1 using the “MyEclipse Configuration Center” because I was having the problem with the Servers View described here https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/servers-view-issue-in-myeclipse-10-7-0-fixed-in-10-7-1/.
I’ve always used MyEclipse in english but my OS is in spanish… I don’t know if this matters.
MyEclipse.ini
#utf8 (do not remove) -startup ../Common/plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.2.0.v20110502.jar --launcher.library ../Common/plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.i18n.win32.win32.x86_4.2.0.v201201111650 -install C:\Users\patrickom\AppData\Local\MyEclipse\MyEclipse 10 -vm C:\Users\patrickom\AppData\Local\MyEclipse\Common\binary\com.sun.java.jdk.win32.x86_1.6.0.013\jre\bin\client\jvm.dll -configuration C:\Users\patrickom\AppData\Local\MyEclipse\MyEclipse 10\configuration -vmargs -Xmx512m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m -XX:ReservedCodeCacheSize=64m -Dosgi.nls.warnings=ignore
Thanks.

Brian FernandesModeratorQuite odd that this happened only for 10.7.1 and not 10.7.0. Your ini file does not have any odd settings, so what we can do is try and force English.
Can you edit your myeclipse.ini file and before the -vmargs argument, please add
-nl en_US
Also, could you please answer this?
Is the rest of your Eclipse interface in Spanish? For instance, if you open the New Class wizard (regular Java class) – are those labels in Spanish?
patrickomMemberYes, quite odd… I’ve been using MyEclipse for several years and this is the first time I see this…
The rest of the interface is in English. Everything but the window title, the Servers tab and the About window.
%productName and %aboutText could be related to some weird custom branding issue but Server tab showing as %view.ast.deploy.core.serverview.name is driving me nuts.
My .log file has this:

The -nl parameter does nothing.

Brian FernandesModeratorPatrick,
Rather than being an internationalization issue, this seems to be like a minor corruption of your installation.
Please locate the following folder on your machine.
com.genuitec.eclipse.ast.deploy.core_10.1.0.me201302031636 it will be in the Commons\plugins folder of your MyEclipse installation (see this note if you need help locating this folder: https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/installation-where-are-the-myeclipse-files-and-folders/)In this folder, do you have a plugin.properties file? If you open that file, does it have the
following line?view.ast.deploy.core.serverview.name = Servers
patrickomMemberI have that folder but there is no plugin.properties inside.
C:\Users\patrickom\AppData\Local\MyEclipse\Common\plugins\com.genuitec.eclipse.ast.deploy.core_10.1.0.me201302031636

Thanks
Brian FernandesModeratorVery odd that they are missing. I’ve attached the files here (you need to be logged in to see them).

patrickomMemberStill the same problem… 🙁
This weekend I’ll uninstall everything and start over. I’ll let you know if it works.
Thank you!
patrickomMemberProblem solved after a clean install.
Thanks.
