Could you guys make a set of icons for all platforms (Win, Linux, etc.) and ship them permanently with the IDE, so that I can get a little cool “My Eclipse” launcher, instead of the boring Eclipse default one?

(Would be the end-all, be-all feature I’m lacking in MyEclipseIDE, hehe)

Well when the installer runs it puts an eclipse.ico file that is the MyEclipse logo in the <eclipse install dir>, is that ok to use? Or you mean you want a new splash screen too?

I can’t find the icon file… I’m on Linux, so maybe you’re only including the icon in the Windows distro?

A MyEclipse screen would be nice too, unless of course you’ll violate the license Eclipse is under by doing it.

We can certainly add a .png version of the icon. Installing a splash screen into Eclipse is a great idea, but will have to wait for 2.8 at the earliest.
