We’re looking to renew our licenses – we currently have MyEclipse professional, but are considering upgrading to Blue. Will MyEclipse Pro work with the Blue licenses so that I can gradually get my developers to install Blue? In other words, I’d like to take the Blue license, use it on a pro installation, and then as we move forward, have developers install Blue and uninstall pro.

I am afraid MyEclipse pro license wouldn’t work with Blue. You can download Blue for 30 day trial period. If you would like to upgrade, I would recommend you send mail to subscriptions@genuitec.com with particulars of your license and upgrade requirement.

I meant – would they be able to use the Blue license on pro, so that pro would work until they switch to Blue.

Can you please send me the comparison matrix between MyEclipse Blue & RAD. I was going through couple of posts & noticed there is a matrix for that. Please send me that as we are evaluating MyEclipse Blue Product.

Users with Blue license will have access to all the Professional features along with the Blue specific features.
