    Hallo,

I have a little feature request for the XML formatter in MyEclipse / WTP. I am not able to leave the option field Line width under section MyEclipse -> Files and Editors -> XML -> Source emtpy. But I don’t want to specify the value because I just want all the other formatting rules to be applied where the line width is not necessary for.

    Best regards,

    Hi Christian,
Setting the length sufficiently long (999) will do the same thing that you have requested for.

    Hallo again,

but setting the line width to 999 doesn’t mean infinite length and a line wrap is done after 999 characters. The problem is that I have to deal with XML-files where I do not know the maximum length of the content and therefore cannot guarantee that it is within the 999 or any other fixed length of signs.

    Best regards.
