I mostly work on database heavy applications and was wondering what I can use to show a database return set.

I mostly use a

listbox,
listview, or
datagrid

(the combobox is available in your product).

My question is: will that be available and when?

We are working with the MyEclipse team on some ideas to rapidly develop iPhone UI -> WebService -> DB applications. The exact scope is not fully finalized but we do plan to make structured data presentation a key mobione feature.

Hi Wayne,

This will be a key feature for what I have in mind as far as application building. I’m not programming for the App Store, but for corporate solutions.

I am looking to use your product to build applications for iPhone, Android and Palm Pre for the corporate market and all of these will interact wit the back end (or cloud) databases, hence my request.

I am not familiar with your other products (I am however currently programming Android on Eclipse) so if you think I should look into your other products in order to accomplish what I am describing then please let me know how that works.

But based upon what I read in your reply it sounds like you are planning on building it into your MobiOne solution.

Again, if it comes down to testing please let me know, I’d be more than happy to take a look at it whenever you have something to look at…
