    Hallo Myeclispe users.

I linked sources from a second project (P2) into my java project (P1). The sources of both projects are controlled by TFS.

(This is a bit ugly, I know. But for other reasons it is the best practise for my case.)

Now the linked source folder in P1 is marked “ignored” and I cannot checkout the sources from this way. In the right button mouse menue I tried several times to unignore this folder without any success.

    Can anybody help me?

    Thanks in advance,

    Gio

    giofyxle ,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

Can you answer some more questions for me to understand the issue better?

    1) Can you share your MyEclipse Build Id from Help > About MyEclipse Enterprise Edition > Build Id ? Paste the Build Id here.

    2) Which version of TFS are you working with ? How did you install the TFS plugin? Is it using Pulse/Update Archive site? Can you recheck if the version of TFS plugin is compatible with base Eclipse version of MyEclipse ?

    3) Do you see any errors of interest logged in the .log file which is located at <workspace>/.metadata/.log? If yes then paste them here for me.

    4) Can you also attach a screenshot to help me get a visual of the problem ? Here is an FAQ on how to upload files to forums : https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/troubleshooting-how-to-upload-attachments-on-forum/

    5) Can you check if you see the same issue when working on Classic Eclipse installation as MyEclipse is based on Eclipse IDE?

Let me know how this works for you.

    Hallo Swapna,

    Thanks for Your interest.

    1. The Myeclipse Id: Version: 8.5 Build id: 8.5-20100319
    2. TFS:

      a.) I use Team Explorer Everywhere 2010 (TFSEclipsePlugin-UpdateSiteArchive-VL-10.1.0.zip)
b.) I installed the plugin via MyEclipse Configuration Center / Software
c.) I suppose that I do not use Pulse/Update Archive Sites. How can I be shure about this?
d.) How can I recheck if the version of TFS plugin is compatible with base Eclipse version?

    3. I did the full procedure once more and during this time there was nothing written to the log-file.
    4. I will attach to you the screenshots in a pdf-document.
    5. Sorry; I don’t have a classic eclipse installation ready.

    Thanks,

    giofyxle

    giofyxle ,

Thank you for the details. I am afraid this is not a MyEclipse issue . I suggest you post it to TFS forums for better support.

Do let us know if you have any other issues.
