I just installed JBuilder 2005 for another project and now eclipse will not start. the message is “error : could not find Java 2 runtime environment.”
where is the reference stored? 🙄

That is because wonderful JBuilder’s install process hijaks all JRE/JDK references and points them to itself (this has screwed me on 2 demos before and I hate that product because of it…)

Regardless, a quick fix is just to redownload the JDK you had installed and reinstall it, it will reset the registry entries and C:\Windows(\System) entries to point back to the JRE you want.
