I just purchased a licenses. Now my IDE does not appear to work. 🙁

shows a stats bar that sits at 24%

Could you please send us your log file? You will find it at [workspace_location]/.metadata/.log.
Can you also send us the launch.json file? You will find it in the .vscode folder within your project.
