    Hi there,

I am a Mac convert, and have been using MyEclipseIDE product on my Mac successfuly for some time now.
However, whenever a new release is out, I am allways quite disappointed that the UML design support, JSP GUI
editing are not supported on the Mac. This is apparently because of a Eclipse/Java bug on a Mac. HOWEVER,
this seems to have been fixed — from the Eclipse download site, I got the following info:

In order to use the SWT_AWT bridge, OS X jre version 1.5.0 Release 4
(or greater) must be used, and the additional “SWT Compatibility Libraries”
must be installed. These libraries can be downloaded from the Downloads
section of Apple Developer Connection (http://connect.apple.com). It’s free
to create an account at Apple Developer Connection to access the download
    (180K). (Eclipse report: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=67384).

    Now, I am running :

    canary:~ aleksm$ java -fullversion
    java full version “1.5.0_06-112”
    canary:~ aleksm$

I have downloaded and installed the above mentioned fix, and still no UML, no GUI
    tools etc…

    My question is:

In view that this bug has been fixed on the Mac, and that there is the above mentioned
patch, when can we expect a full-feature MyEclipseIDE as it exists on the Windows
    operating system?

    Thank you, Alex.

    Alex,
We wish it was fixed, but it’s not really fixed yet, please see this thread for more information and my update from yesterday at the end:
    http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-12464.html

Also, the problem of not having a visual web designer (html/jsp/jsf/struts) should be fixed in 5.0, we are introducing the first version of our visual web designer in 5.0 Milestone 2 which is due out at the end of June.
