Hello,

i need to uninstall MyEclipse IDE version 8.
I tried calling the uninstall link from Start -> Program menu. It launched an uninstaller but the uninstaller crashed.

Now there is no longer any link to the uninstall myeclipse within the Start –> Program but the installation of myeclipse still exists. I can still launch myeclipse from the short cut I had originally created.

How do I uninstall myeclipse completely?

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Why do you wish to un-install MyEclipse? What is your OS and version?

Here are the steps to manually un-install MyEclipse –
1. Make sure the MyEclipse Install Directory has been completely removed
2.1. Pulse Install Directory, on XP it’s under C:\Program Files in \Pulse or \Genuitec, and on Vista it’s under <USER.HOME>\AppData\Local and then under \Pulse or \Genuitec again
3. Then make sure the pulse2.locator file under <USER.HOME> is erased as well
