Mikelv001MemberHey Octavio-
I have an idea for an ‘interactive’ map. I’d like to have a main screen that would take a user to a separate screen with a map widget, let’s say for Hawaii. On the map, I’d like to place a dozen or so address-specific markers, that if clicked (tapped), would take the user to a separate ‘details’ screen. Here’s a map like that from Homeaway – it’s a large map, and if you zoom in, you’ll see active markers that will take the user to a details page.
Is there anyway you can think of that I can create something similar with maps / nav bars / buttons / etc?
By the way, my other 2 new apps are in the ‘waiting for review’ process; I’ll post the links after they’re approved (fingers crossed).
Thank you for your help-
Mike
support-michaelKeymasterYes, this is doable using the new map widget and some javascript code. We have posted some snippets and example projects only here with the map developer guide:

Mikelv001MemberHi Wayne-
I’ve reviewed the information, and I admit I’m lost. I’d like to be able to locate a map marker by address, but if the marker is tapped, would navigate the user to separate new screen, and be able to navigate back to the map screen. This is more than a pop-up information box….Is this sort of functionality possible, and if so can you help 🙂
Thank you 🙂

support-octavioMemberHi Mike,
I have opened a doc enhancement request to provide a more extensive example per your request. This will take more time as there a several other doc topics already in the queue. In the meantime you may be able to google up an example as this seems like a reasonable use-case.
Mikelv001MemberHi Octavio-
Thought I’d check on the status of this.
Here’s the same link as the original post above, with generally what I’d like to do with an interactive map:
The project will be structured around a main screen with three nav bars:
1 – bar which takes you to a list organized by name (which then navigates to individual ‘details’ screens);
2 – bar which takes you to a list organized by location (which then navigates to individual ‘details’ screens);
3 – bar which takes you to an interactive map. For the interactive map, I’d like to have +/- 50 markers located by address, which would link to the same ‘details’ screens noted above in 1 & 2.Let me know your thoughts; I have 1 & 2 done, but don’t know how to approach the map.
Thank you for your help-
Mike
