TorbenKjeldgaardMemberHi Support, I’ve just mailed a project to you with subject “Map widget don’t work”
I think there is a bug – because I’ve followed your documentation.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Kind regards
Torben
support-octavioMemberHi TKT,
Have you approved the Goolge Maps API. Also, what Mobione version are you runing? Lastly, note that I have checked our email system and haven’t seen an email from you, what’s the project’s size? if it’s bigger than 10MB please send it over again using wetransfer.com
Unknown AuthorParticipantHave you registered with Google for your Google Map key?
The map widget works just fine. Local storage works just fine. Everything works, people…

TorbenKjeldgaardMemberHi Octavia,
I’m running latest MobiOne (2.6.1) and I have and use a google Maps API key.
But I might have found the problem!
On my first page I’ve made a hidden panel and made link to the map screen – and now it’s working! But trying to reproduce the problem on a new project failed – here it works without the link to the map page…I’m really confused, and it would be nice if you could take a look on it – just to see if I’ve made some kind of fail or it’s a bug caused by circumstances I can’t see..
I sent the project to esupport-system at genuitec com yesterday
Kind regards
Torben
support-octavioMemberHi Torben,
Could you resend your files to support at genuitec dot com, I’m afraid that we won’t get your email sent to that address.
TorbenKjeldgaardMemberHi support-octavio,
I’ve just sent the files.
Kind regards
Torben
PaulLeBlancParticipantPlease post the solution – if you find anything. I am having poroblems with the maps not displaying correctly. My maps have a “flight path” displayed. Displays fine the first time then when you change to another map and flightpath it is slewed into the upper left corner. When you drag it to center it, it refreshed in the wrong area. Everything worked fine in mobi 2.3, but not in 2.6.1. I’m thinking it is a mobi 2.6 problem.
support-michaelKeymasterPlease post an example project.
>Everything worked fine in mobi 2.3, but not in 2.6.1. I’m thinking it is a mobi 2.6 problem.
The main change following 2.3 was for the map widget to be able to initialization after startup to support cases when a device may be offline when the app is launched and then later online. Additionally the map widget maintains a list of its markers which are passed as an new paramter in the init callback function.
PaulLeBlancParticipantMichael for some reason it wont let me attach code. I’ll send it to support.
support-michaelKeymasterarchive it as a zip and keep the size low. I think the max attachment size is 1M.
If no luck please send to support at genuitec dot com with title “mobione map prj from pwleblanc” and include a url to this thread in the msg.
Unknown AuthorParticipantHow was this resolved? I’ve got the same issue.
PaulLeBlancParticipantMichael at support has submitted as a bug in 2.6, so hopefully we will get a solution soon. if they don’t post the solution here, I’ll do so for all.
Unknown AuthorParticipantDo you have a solution or workaround? I need a solution ASAP.
