Can anyone point me to a good tutorial/example for developing a desktop app with Matisse4MyEclipse with a database bacn-end (in my case, Oracle). I’m not very familiar with desktop development (usually do more web work), so I’d like a tutorial/example to help me get my feet wet. Thanks.

Unfortunately i don’t have a tutorial for you like this yet, but the next version of M4M (no ETA just yet) should support the new Beans-Binding spec (http://jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=295) which does exactly this. It binds UI components to a backend DB, very slick.
