Initially no templates are listed and I am asked for a license, however I have only been evaluating MyEclipse for a few days.

Once I cancel, it no longer asks for the license and does not list any templates.

Have you been evaluting MyEclipse for longer? Matisse is an extension to MyEclipse so even if you just downloaded Matisse, it may be effected by the issue that your MyEclipse trial ran out.
