Wrapping up an app in Matisse and it suddenly will not let me change my forms.

If I move a component it moves and then disappears/reappears in its old location.

In the outline if I move a component it moves and the designer ui updates to show the move. Then, just like the other components, it disappears and reappears in its old location.

Help is appreciated, hitting a deadline soon.

    Thanks

Just to make it more fun, it changed something and my app won;t even compile now as its complaining about an attached button.

If I can get the Matisse to work I can fix it by deleting the offending element but my only alternative is to fix the .java directly which matisse promptly clobbers on the next run since the .form is authoritative.

Hopefully this is well known and an easy fix 🙂

    Java 1.5.

Fixed it.some component had become detached from a ‘HORIZONTAL’ something or the other.

I just deleted everything on thatcomponent as well as the component itself and Matisse could once again function.

No idea what happened to detach it but its back now. It was a difficult problem since it was syntactically correct and only appeared at runtime with less the stellar debug output.

    Back to work!

Note for future generations : I had to manually edit the form as a text file.
