I have been using MyEclipse for while, and recently i’ve install jdk6, after that when I right click on a JMenu object on the outline pane, the pop up menu is not shown (actually it is shown and inmediately closed), the after clicking on the properties pane, the code button and back to the properties button, then try to right click the JMenu object on the editor or the outline (sometimes hangs right away, others you have to right click, lose the popup menu, properties pane, and so on) eclipse will hang up. I’ve switch back to JDK5u11 and worked fine. Try again few days later with JDk6U1 and still the same behaviour. Could not find a workaround, but if you switch to view the source and then back to the design seems to be more stable.

We are aware of some issues with M4M and Java 6, it’s not supported at this time. For the best result try using Sun JRE 1.5.0_12
