Yes… the longest thread in the forum is request for Maven 2 support in the Feature Request forum. In the last 4 pages there are some more details as to why it wasn’t done already and how we are attacking it.

Is there still no support for Maven 2 in MyEclipse? I’d love to see support that allows WTP to read and use the Maven 2 webapp structure.

Our management team has been talking to the Maven folks for a while now, there is more happening here but no it’s not in yet. There are so many little pre-cursor pieces that need to fall into place first but they are happening, so that’s good.
