Why can’t I format pom.xml files when I use the Maven POM Editor? I see that I can use XML formatting when I open the MyEclipse editor, but it involves toggling between these two editors, which is very inefficient.

Our next update MyEclipse 2024 which is due for release in June will support formatting in the POM editor.
We will keep you posted when the release is out.
