the Maven project (http://maven.apache.org) provides a plugin for eclipse.
This plugin uses a classpath container that is not included in a web application’s class path.

Are you mentioning this because the dependencies are left behind when MyEclipse deploys the project? I haven’t gotten a chance to play with this plugin yet, but we’ve been talking Maven2 support for a while internally.

MyEclipse is really good, but it desperately needs Maven support/integation. I think this is our number 1 feature request along with most other users judging by the forums
