Hi,

I use ME standard/basic 2014: 12.0.0-20131202 on windows 7 64bit with 8GB ram.

No matter what type of file I have (java/jsp/html/anything) every time I use the right mouse to pull up the menu, I have a delay of almost exactly 5 seconds and the cpu starts to take off. It’s also slow to switch files/tabs, but that’s livable compared to the right mouse click.

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

I removed the windows tools option and it got a bit faster. Not zippy, but usable.

Can you please answer some more queries to help us investigate further :
1) Can you please switch to a new workspace and check whether you can replicate the issue in the new workspace ?
2) Please clarify whether you are seeing this issue all the time ? Also mention in what situations you are seeing this issue ?
3) List all the third party plugins that are installed ?
4) Can you please attach the screenshot of the context menu to help us investigate further ?
5) Please clarify whether you are seeing this issue in ‘Package explorer’ view ? If not, please mention the view in which you are seeing the issue.
6) Please mention the steps followed to remove the ‘Windows tools option’ ?
