VisualVM is great – comes with Sun JDK and there is a plugin in a zip file, here

So if I want to install it, I have to create my own update site which is a real pain. I did it before on “implementors” but don’t fancy having to do it again.

BTW – have you got a better solution for installing / extracting updates via a ZIP file ?

Would love to see this integrated with MyEclipse or available in the catalog as a downloadable plugin. It allows you to profile your java application.
